Accreditation Process

EGAC operates in accordance with IAF & ILAC, guidelines ISO/IEC 17011 : 2017

It is our aim to establish Competence of the conformity assessment bodies and the credibility of their certificate and reports.

Step 01

Application for Accreditation

Submit an application form through the website

Step 02

Application Review

EGAC accreditation manager reviews the application as part of assessment preparation

Step 03

Appointment of Assessment Team

Assigned assessment team review documents

Step 04

Pre-assessment Visit (Optional)

CAB submits corrective action evidences for closure of findings within allowed time limit.

Step 05

Assessment Visit and Defining Nonconformities, If any

Deliverables include: Assessment reports, the nonconformity cases, scope of accreditation, corrective action evidences.

Step 06

Work of Technical and Accreditation Committees

The technical committee reviews the previous steps to provide recommendations and the accreditation committee reviews the outputs of the technical committee and provides the accreditation decision.

Step 07

Granting Accreditation

Granting accreditation.

Step 08

Annual Surveillance Visits

Annual surveillance visits and re-accreditation.
