The Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) announced the granting of international accreditation to the Certification Management Department at the Vocational Training Center of the Suez Canal Authority, in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17024 for bodies operating certification of persons.
This accreditation comes within the framework of institutional cooperation between EGAC and the Suez Canal Authority, one of Egypt’s major national entities, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to applying the highest international quality standards and achieving global recognition for professional certification systems.
The accreditation confirms that the Certification Management Department at the Vocational Training Center has fulfilled all technical and administrative requirements of ISO/IEC 17024, ensuring competence, impartiality, and transparency in the certification processes for individuals across various professional fields. This enables the certificates issued by the Center to gain international recognition and enhances the credibility of certified professionals.
EGAC affirms that this achievement represents a significant addition to the national accreditation system and supports Egypt’s strategic direction toward strengthening vocational training, aligning its outcomes with labor market needs, and enhancing international confidence in Egyptian technical competencies.
