The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) has successfully passed the accreditation visit conducted by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) on October 21, 2025, at the Hazardous Materials Analysis Laboratory of the Central Administration for Pharmaceutical Control at the EDA’s Mansouria premises.

This achievement reflects the Authority’s commitment to strengthening its regulatory system, ensuring the quality and accuracy of laboratory test results, and implementing the highest standards of quality in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 for laboratory competence.

The EGAC assessment team commended the technical and administrative performance of the laboratory staff and the precision of the quality systems applied, highlighting the continuous efforts of the Egyptian Drug Authority to enhance its oversight of pharmaceuticals and related materials.

This accreditation represents a significant step towards institutional excellence and the development of EDA’s laboratory capabilities, reinforcing confidence both locally and internationally in the quality of Egypt’s pharmaceutical regulatory system.
