Dr. Mohamed Hanteira, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board in Gharbia Governorate, announced the international accreditation renewal for the Comprehensive Clinic Laboratories at Tanta University Hospitals in some bleeding and coagulation tests by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC).
He highlighted the commitment of Tanta University’s administration, headed by Dr. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, and the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals management, to continuously develop medical laboratories and equip them with the latest specialized medical devices and technologies. He extended his thanks and appreciation to the efforts of the EGAC, represented by Eng. Hany El Desouky, Executive Director of the Council, and its staff.
Dr. Hanteira expressed gratitude to the University President for his continuous support to the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals, congratulating the faculty, hospital administration, and all laboratory staff on this achievement. He expressed pride in the renewal of international accreditation for the Comprehensive Clinic Laboratories in certain bleeding and coagulation tests at Tanta University Hospital and the transition to the new version of the international standard.
He emphasized that this achievement reflects the dedication, diligence, and strict adherence to international quality standards by all laboratory teams, urging all staff to continue their diligent work to maintain this distinguished level of performance and to further develop the services provided to meet patient needs.

It is noteworthy that the renewal of accreditation for the Comprehensive Clinic Laboratories follows the decision of the independent accreditation committee held in October, with accreditation valid from April 2026 to April 2030.
