The approval came within the framework of the Committee’s review of the budget proposals of entities operating within the industrial sector, taking into consideration the evaluation of actual performance during the previous fiscal year, the extent to which strategic objectives were achieved, and the efficiency of resource allocation to support future development plans and programs.
During the meeting, the strategic vision and work plans for the fiscal year 2026/2027 were presented by a number of organizations, including the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), the General Authority for Industrial and Mining Projects, the Industrial Control Authority, the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS), and the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC).

The Council also emphasized its commitment to enhancing Egypt’s quality infrastructure through the provision of internationally recognized accreditation services that support confidence in testing, calibration, inspection, certification, validation, and verification activities.
